Tennis player Sorana Cîrstea, 30th WTA place and number 2 seed, qualified for the eighth WTA 250 category tournament in Lyon on March 2.
Sorana Cirstea passed in the inaugural round by Mariam Bolkvadze from Georgia, place 156 WTA, coming from qualifications, score 6-3, 6-1.
The match lasted one hour and 18 minutes. In the eighth round, Cîrstea will play with the Swiss Stefanie Vogele, 144th place in the world, also coming from the qualifications. For access to the eighth, Cîrstea will receive 2,963 euros and 30 WTA points.
